OnePlus has reduced the price of its marquee handset 'One', buoyed by the response to its limited period, $50 discount on the flagship smartphone (16GB & 64GB models) introduced last month.
"Our experiment was a great success, and we received tons of positive feedback from our fans on social media. But we also know that some of you missed out on the sales. We want to ensure that all of our fans have the opportunity to get the Flagship Killer at this special price, which leads us to some big news: the OnePlus One now starts at $249, permanently," read the company's official blog.
Further, OnePlus, in collaboration with firm Dropbox, is offering 1TB (1000 GB) cloud-storage (Dropbox Pro package) one year free bundle with OnePlus One (64GB) model at a concessional rate of $349 (around €310/₹22,320)
[Note: Without discount, 1TB Dropbox Pro subscription cost $100, so users will saving $50 bucks].
With the announcement, 16GB Silk White model will now cost $249 (around €221/₹15,920), whereas the 64GB model (with-out Dropbox Pro bundle) costs $299 (around €265/₹19,120).
But, there is a catch: this offer is valid from 10 June in select regions (US, Canada and Europe Union) for a limited period.
