OnePlus One users will be happy to add a new accessory to their collection. The Chinese tech company announced its 10,000mAh power bank that will be available from Tuesday, 17 March, after it was unveiled late last year. The announcement was made on the company's Google+ page along with an image of a white power bank showing four LED lights.
OnePlus Power Bank justifies the company's high-quality standards and comes in Silk White and Sandstone Black variants. The power bank features the lithium-polymer technology and safety features to avoid overcharging and overheating. OnePlus claims the 10,000mAh power bank can fully charge itself in just 5.5 hours and charge OnePlus One smartphone's 3,100mAh battery up to three times, First Post reports. This will serve as a great companion for those who go on long road trips and wall-socket charging is not offered at convenience.
OnePlus Power Bank also sports two USB ports that can charge two devices simultaneously. The new accessory weighs around 220g and measures 142.8x72.6x16.2mm in size, which makes it easy to carry around in a backpack.
OnePlus did not reveal the Indian pricing of its power bank, but it has a €15.99 price tag which roughly translates to ₹1,100. There are high chances that the launch price may vary.
One Plus power bank will most certainly compete with Xiaomi's 10,400mAh power bank, which features a full-aluminum built and costs ₹999. An effective price tag will help OnePlus get an added advantage, given the Xiaomi power bank sales are currently put on hold.
OnePlus exclusive sale partner, Amazon hasn't listed the product yet and there's no information on the exact pricing. But Tuesday's launch date promises more details on the power bank availability and price.
