If you buy an OnePlus smartphone, the first thing you look for is a good pair of earphones. The company's Silver Bullets makes a good offer at Rs. 899. But there is always a premium slot in OnePlus range and it is now filled by Icons, the company's latest premium in-ear headphones. Following the U.S. release of the earphones for $50, Icons have finally stepped into the Indian market with a Rs. 2,999 price tag.
If the price seems too high for a single pair of earphones, one must consider the quality it comes with. OnePlus Icons are exquisitely designed to spell class in every detail. Inspired by the king of music instruments, organ piano, the Icon earphones are made of aluminium and are light, sturdy and stylish, OnePlus said in a blog post.
"We believe that quality materials equal a better audio experience, which is why we selected a state-of-the-art, malleable aluminum composite for the Icons' diaphragm. It offers a truly natural and authentic sound that emphasizes a clear mid-range, matched with a balanced bass and treble.
