Popular Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus might launch a new device, probably the OnePlus X, next week.
The company has sent out an invite for an event in Bengaluru, India. It is hosted by OnePlus founder (& CEO) Pete Lau and Vikas Agarwal (GM) India.
The cryptic invitation says that the company wants to showcase 'The Next Big Step', hinting that they might announce a new device, which many believe it to be the rumoured OnePlus X, the compact version of the flagship OnePlus 2.
For the past few weeks, there has been a spurt in leaks with regard to OnePlus X, which has left very little for us to imagine. Even the price details of the device have been leaked and word on the street is that OnePlus X would cost just $250 (€222/Rs. 16,323).
The new OnePlus X is said to sport 5.0-inch full HD display and run on the Android based Oxygen OS backed by MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-core, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and a 3100 mAh battery.
