OnePlus is rumoured to launch the OnePlus 6T around October-November time frame. However, before the company could make the official announcement, the retail box of the Android flagship phone has surfaced online revealing the key design elements.
In the image (courtesy Slash Leaks), OnePlus 6T box shows the phone's front-panel design, confirming that it will be coming with water drop design having just a small notch on top, which will house the camera and rest will be occupied by the screen.
If we observe closely, we can also see there is small fingerprint impression at the bottom with a phrase 'Unlock The Speed', indicating the device will have an in-screen bio-metric scanner.
In the other photos, we see the outer sides of the package with OnePlus 6T engravings and the 'T' character has been highlighted with the red shade similar to the 2017-series OnePlus 5T, making us believe that the retail box might be a real deal.
OnePlus 6T: What we know so far
Except for the change in the front-panel design, rest of the features of the OnePlus 6T are likely to remain same as the OnePlus 6.
It is expected to come with metallic frame and glass cover on top of the back shell. With the increase in screen real estate, the consumers will get a better viewing experience.
Under the hood, it is likely to come with Android Pie-based OxygenOS 6 to house Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core and in multiple RAM + storage configuration -- 6GB RAM+64GB storage, 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage.
OnePlus 6T is expected to come with dual-camera on the back, a good selfie shooter with wide angle Field Of View (FOV) on the front. It is also rumoured to boast a bigger battery capacity with faster Warp Charge (aka Dash Charge) technology.
OnePlus is also expected to sell OnePlus 6T with T-Mobile carrier contract deal in the US, a first in the company's short and successful journey since its inception in late 2013. Without the contract, it is said to cost around $550 (around €475/Rs 39,482).
