Having started the full-fledged teaser campaign for the upcoming OnePlus 5, the Chinese company, probably in a bid to clear stocks, has slashed the price of the current flagship OnePlus 3T in India.
Prospective buyers with State Bank of India credit cards can avail Rs. 1,500 cash back on OnePlus 3T on the official website, Oneplustore.in. It can now be bought for Rs. 28,499 instead of the MRP of Rs. 29,999. This is first price cut for the device since its debut in November. This offer is valid only up to June 4.

Should you buy OnePlus 3T or wait for OnePlus 5?
If you are in urgent need to replace your old phone (due to reasons such as breakage), then it's better to go for OnePlus 3T. If you are patient enough to wait for at least a month, then you can choose to wait for the new phone.
OnePlus 3T sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and comes with 6GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core CPU, Android Marshmallow OS, 64GB internal storage, 16MP camera (front & back) and a 3,400mAh battery with Dash Charge technology, which can quickly charge the phone from zero to 60 percent within 30 minutes.

In a related development, OnePlus has confirmed that it will discontinue the sale of OnePlus 3T in select markets, including Europe, from June 1 onwards.
However, the marquee OnePlus 3T (both 64GB & 128GB) will continue to be sold in India till the end of 2017, the company officials told the International Business Times, India edition.
