OnePlus is finally set to launch the soft gold variant of the OnePlus 3 in India. The yellow-hued handset was first released in the United States more than a month ago, and entered the other countries in August.
The administrator of OnePlus forum has revealed that the OnePlus 3 soft gold variant will be launched in India in the first week of October, just in time for the festive season. However, the exact release date of the new model is not known yet.
The soft gold OnePlus 3 comes with a price tag of Rs. 27,999, the same as the original model. It has a full-metal uni-body design, sports a 5.5-inch full HD Optic AMOLED screen with 1,920x1,080p (401 ppi pixel density), measures 152.7x74.7x7.35 mm in dimension and weighs 158g.
The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based OxygenOS (upgradable to Android 7.0 Nougat), a 64GB internal memory, and a 6GB RAM. It also features a 16MP main camera with Sony IMX 298 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12 µm lens, OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation), PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and 4K video recording, an 8MP front-snapper with Sony IMX179 sensor, 1.4 µm lens and f/2.0 aperture, and a 3,000mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V 4A) technology.
In terms of connectivity, the OnePlus 3 supports dual-SIM, Bluetooth v4.2 LE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n/ac), USB Type-C, NFC (Near Field Communication), Dirac HD Sound and dual-microphone with noise cancellation.
