OnePlus 2 camera details have surfaced online, ahead of the smartphone's launch on 27 July.
Technology blogger Marques Brownlee has claimed to have accessed the yet-to-be released OnePlus 2 and posted a phone review video clip revealing the camera features of the upcoming phone.
In the video, he says that the new phone will house a13mp camera with f/2.0 aperture on the rear-side, similar to the 2014 model. The successor will be a step up in terms of image processing.
Brownlee compared images taken from OnePlus 2 with those snapped using OnePlus One. The photos taken from OnePlus 2 were better compared to snaps from its predecessor.
The company has also incorporated laser guided auto-focus feature such as the one seen in LG's flagship G3 and the recently released G4. The feature measures the distance between the subject and the camera using a laser beam, enabling good quality photos even under low-light conditions.
OnePlus 2 camera will reportedly come with auto-mode, HDR, clear-shot, beauty mode, panorama mode and 4k video recording ability.
