Season 1 of "One Punch Man" anime has enjoyed enormous success and now fans of both anime and manga are eagerly waiting for the second season of the highly popular anime series.
Previously, Murata Yusuke, creator of "One Punch Man" manga series, had stated that he and his team have already started to work on "One Punch Man" Season 2. However, the fans still have no idea what to expect from the second season.
As Yusuke has confirmed that he, along with his highly talented creative team, has already started to work on Season 2 of the series, the next season of "One Punch Man" will most probably air around November or December this year.
However, much to the disappointment of the fans, Otakuart has reported that the second season of "One Punch Man" might take two years to finish. The website has reported that Yusuke's team will have to create 100 sketches, 100 inked pages and 100 storyboards and the editing work will take 10 hours per day.
However, as there will be several artists, writers and other people working at the same time, it might not take that long to come out with the second season of "One Punch Man." According to Ecumenical News, the anime will closely follow manga's storyline.
The upcoming season of the anime will follow Hero Hunter Arc. The description by HNGN reads:
"In the manga, Garou was Bang or Silver Fang's former disciple who eventually lost his way. What is particularly interesting is that Garou and Saitama are two sides of the same coin -- just people who happen to go far beyond what humans are capable of becoming."
Besides Garou, it is also rumoured that Saitama and Amai Mask will have a tense relationship that will further increase in Season 2. Though there has been no official information regarding the release of "One Punch Man" Season 2, the series premiere might air in the second half of this year.
