Fans eagerly waiting for the next instalment of their favourite anime series "One Punch Man" might get some good news soon as the anime will have a panel at Anime Expo (AX 2016) at the Los Angeles Convention Center this year.
According to Ecumenical News, the panel at the expo will conduct a talk show called "One Punch Matsuri." The show will be attended by animation director Shingo Natsume and Makoto Furukawa, who voices the protagonist of the series, Saitama.
Though it is not yet clarified that what details will be revealed by the show-runners, several rumours state that the long-awaited release date will be announced by the panel. Plot details of the upcoming season might also be shared at the event.
Till Natsume and Furukawa announce something official regarding the popular animated series, most of the information available for the second season is mostly rumours and speculations.
The first season of the series premiered in October last year, hence, fans are hoping that the second season will also air sometime in October this year, though there has been no such official confirmation.
In the meantime, "One Punch Man" manga creator Yusuke Murata is reportedly focusing on the anime currently, hence, there is a significant possibility that Season 2 will be fast forwarded and the fans might get to see it as soon as possible.
Regarding the plot of Season 2, it is speculated that Saitama will fight against three of his most prominent enemies, namely Garou, amai Mask and Lord Boros. Saitama fought against Lord Boros in Season 1. However, it seems he is back and is more powerful. Saitama will surely find beating Lord Boros harder this time than his previous encounter with him.
Fans were hoping to see Garou becoming a hero and using his abilities for good motives. However, unfortunately, Garou was seduced to the dark side and soon he became a power-hungry rogue warrior.
