For months, the second season of popular anime series "One Punch Man" has been creating a buzz on the internet. Though the creator of the series, Yusuke Murata, confirmed that the initial work on Season 2 has been started, the official air date is yet to be announced.
Previously, after months of speculations, Murata confirmed that he is working on the next instalment of "One Punch Man," much to the delight of the fans who were eagerly waiting for the second season. However, he didn't reveal an air date for the next season and said that it will be released as soon as possible.
The primary reason behind the delay of Season 2 is that Murata was busy with his other ventures that includes another anime series. However, he is done with the work and currently is focusing only on the upcoming season of "One Punch Man."
Recent rumours surfacing over the internet state that Season 2 will be released once Toonami will be done with airing the English dubbed episodes of "One Punch Man" Season 1. Game n Guide has stated that Season 2 will be announced in early September and is expected to air in October or November this year.
