Actor Amitabh Bachchan had met Hillary Clinton some years back and that has been revealed in one of the leaked emails of the US presidential candidate.
While the leaked emails of Hillary Clinton have been in news of late, one of the emails caught attention of The Washington Post reporter Jose A Delreal. The journalist shared a screenshot of one of the leaked emails in which Hillary is seen asking her aide Huma Abedin about Amitabh Bachchan.
Hillary asked Huma the name of the "famous older Indian actor" that she had met a few years back and in reply to that the former responded, saying, Amitabh Bachchan. However, Huma made a small mistake in the spelling of the star's name. The mentioned email dated long back to July 2011.
Jose A Delreal shared the screenshot with the caption saying, "Yet another afternoon sifting through Clinton emails, like old times. This is the most interesting one I've found yet."
The US presidential nominee's emails were under investigation by the FBI. The probe ended in July and she was found innocent, following which WikiLeaks released some of the emails in October. The entire issue has been making headlines as the US presidential election is set to happen on November 8. Hillary will fight against Donald Trump in the much-awaited poll.
