After several failed attempts to find Merlin aka Sorcerer (Elliot Knight) in "Once Upon a Time" season 5, Emma Swan's (Jennifer Morrison) son Henry Daniel Mills (Jared S Gilmore) may decide to rewrite the book to save her from the darkness.

Although Gilmore's character had the option to rewrite the book before his mother became "The Dark Swan", he refused, and broke the Author's quill. But now he regrets his action and will try his best to save her.

Initially, the adopted son of Evil Queen Regina Mills will team up with Prince Charming aka David Nolan (Josh Dallas), Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), Snow White aka Mary Margaret Blanchard (Ginnifer Goodwin) and others to find the whereabouts of Merlin.

But since Henry is the new author, he may gradually find a way out to rewrite Emma's faith. Executive Producer Edward Kitsis has already revealed that the viewers will see more of Gilmore's character being the Author in season 5 of "Once Upon a Time", according to Entertainment Weekly.

Meanwhile, a behind-the-scene photo of Elliot Knight as Merlin aka Sorcerer has been leaked online, which gives fans a glimpse of one of the most anticipated characters on the ABC fairytale series.

ABC will air "Once Upon a Time" season 5 premiere titled "The Dark Swan" on Sunday, 27 September, at 8pm.
