ABC's fairytale series "Once Upon a Time" will begin a new chapter in the mid-season premiere of Season 4. The episode, titled "Darkness on the Edge of Town", will be telecast on 1 March, Sunday, at 8 pm.
The show will not just focus on the power of Queens of Darkness, Maleficent, (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Ursula (Merrin Dungey) and Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit), but also on its impact on the people of Storybrooke.
One of the major scenes that viewers are expecting from episode 13 of the fairytale series is the introduction of Storybrooke's author.
The fall-finale episode of "Once Upon a Time" Season 4 ended showing Regina Mills (Lana Parrilla) searching for the author of the fairytale book. But several spoilers have indicated that the evil queen will not succeed in her mission.
However, Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) is still in search of the author and he brings the Queens of Darkness together to execute his devious scheme. Since Maleficent has some new powers, she may discover the mysterious person.
Meanwhile, creator Edward Kitsis teased that fans of ABC series will meet the author in the second half of Season 4, reported Hypable.
On the other hand, Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) might get trapped in the hands of evil queens and turn herself into a villain, teased Kristin Bauer van Straten.
"Emma has spent a long time in the series being told she's a savior and being told she's a hero, and now she's going to have to face that it's not as black and white as that," she told Variety.
To know more about the people in Storybrooke, "Once Upon a Time" fans can watch the mid-season premiere episode, "Darkness on the Edge of Town", this Sunday.
