Omar Borkan Al Gala, the United Arab Emirates national who was allegedly deported from Saudi Arabia for being "too handsome", was apparently banished from Facebook as his official page was deleted abruptly on Tuesday without his knowledge.
The 25-year-old self proclaimed poet-cum-actor shot to fame after reports of his deporting from the Saudi kingdom emerged. Along with Al Gala, two other men were also deported for their devilish good looks which authorities feared would make women fall into immoral thoughts.
Soon, the 'Omar Borkan Al Gala' Facebook page became an internet sensation worldwide, fetching 790,000 likes. The number of followers on his Twitter page also increased as the soon as the reports gained international attention.
But surprisingly, Al Gala's official page went "mysteriously" missing on Tuesday. After clicking on his official Facebook URL, a message pops out saying, "Sorry, this page isn't available."
Al Gala noticed that his official page did not exist anymore, on Tuesday evening. He reported his "deportation" from the social networking site through his alternative account saying, "my previous page has been removed .. and I don't know why? lol"
"My previous page was deleted just after posting this video in 2 hours ago i was contacted facebook about this and there's no response yet what do you think guys?"
Al Gala's Facebook page was deleted two days after he revealed his relationship status. In an interview with a Philippine local television program by GMA Network, he declared he was single and was looking forward to meet the right person.
