Late actor Om Puri's ex-wife Nandita Puri has finally spoken about Pakistani news anchor Aamir Liaquat and the ghost video he shared. Nandita called the Pakistani news anchor a "joker" and said that someone from India has sent a script to him along with the video.
A video has gone viral on social that claims to show a "ghost" of Om Puri wandering outside a flat. The video was first played by a Pakistani channel, which also claimed that the veteran actor was murdered. The news anchor Aamir said that the video shows Om Puri's ghost wandering outside his residence to take revenge from his killers.

Talking about the video, Nandita said that it is scripted and nothing but a footage of a CCTV camera. "Aamir Liaquat is a joker in Pakistan, who has survived a lot of these cheap thrills earlier too. According to my sources, he was given this from somebody in India and there are many people involved who have scripted this whole thing, which is disgraceful and in extremely bad taste," she told Hindustan Times.
"The video was shot in a night vision CCTV camera and we have traced down the building. Of course it's not where Om lived. He won't live in a shoddy building, but it's very close to our house," she added.
Nandita also alleged that people are after Om Puri's money and their agenda is only to harass people. "There were people who were after Om's money and not very happy with the kind of adulation he got in the West because they aren't successful," she said.
"These people [behind this video] have hurt me, my son and the entire nation and film fraternity. They are Namard. They must be some f***ing bl**dy castrated bas***ds to do such a thing," she added.
