The audio of Mani Ratnam's "Ok Kanmani" aka "Ok Kadhal Kanmani" has been released on Friday, 3 April. The AR Rahman's album was directly released online on Sony Music's Youtube page. [Find the audio link below]
The music of "Ok Kanmani" has made news for all positive reasons so far. It all started with the song teaser release of "Mental Manadhil", which hogged the limelight to the movie big time. People memories of Mani Ratnam-AR Rahman's earlier movies of 90s returned back and it became the most-awaited album overnight.
The other promotional stratgery like innovative audio release announcement and song promos have taken the curiosity on the album to a new level. So, people were curiously looking forward to see what the "Ok Kanmani" has to offer the music listeners.
"Ok Kanmani" has nine songs in total. Vairamuthu has worked on the lyrics of the songs, which have been crooned by Aaryan, Darshana, Shashaa Tirupati, Karthik, Jonita Gandhi, Sathya Prakash, KS Chitra and AR Ameen. Rahman has lent his voice to a few tracks too. The other interesting part of the album is that Rahman's son Ameen has recorded a song.
Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen are starring in "Ok Kanmani". Prakash Raj, Leela Samson, Ramya Subramaniam and others in the cast. While PC Sreeram handles the cinematography, Sreekar Prasad is editing the film.
Mani Ratnam produced "Ok Kanmani" will hit the screens on 24 April.
