Dulquer Salmaan, who is basking in the success of his latest outing "O Kadhal Kanmani" ("Ok Bangaram") shared a photo of his first moment with megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday, 19 May.
Dulquer thanked Big B through his recent post after the mega star applauded the "Ok Kanmani" stars Dulquer and Nithya Menen for their amazing performance in the Mani Ratnam directorial.
"Shweta and I get to see Mani Ratnam's new and fresh Tamil film at a trial, and it is a sweet and endearing story of love among the young. Fresh and with a sense of the changing times, in keeping with the sensibilities of this generation, it shows compassion and example with great dexterity," Amitabh Bachchan had earlier written on his blog.
An overwhelmed DQ also thanked the legendary star for inspiring all actors with his performances and accomplishments.
Dulquer then shared his first black and white photo with Bachchan and mentioned that his father Mammootty was behind the camera. The picture was taken at Taj Malabar before the (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) AMMA show in 1995, when he was nine years old.
"Mr Bachchan is the one celebrity I wanted a picture with. I remember requesting my father to please take me to get a picture with him. So during the AMMA show 1995 early one morning vappichi loaded his SLR camera with some black and white film and drove me to Taj Malabar," Dulquer posted on his official Facebook account on Tuesday.
He also mentioned the rare moments he shared with Bachchan, who even offered him breakfast.
