Odia Television actress Laxmipriya Behera aka Nikita died at a private hospital in Cuttack on January 5 while undergoing treatment for her head injury.
According to Odisha TV, Nikita was admitted to the hospital following a head injury which was caused after she fell from the terrace. She had gone to her father's house which is located near Mahanadi Vihar area. She had also sustained minor injuries on her body.
However, it is not known what circumstances led to her falling down from the terrace.
After getting injured, Nikita was reportedly admitted to a private hospital by her family members and they shifted to SCB hospital in Cuttack. After her health started deteriorating at SCB She was again moved to a private hospital where she succumbed to her injury.
Nikita was known for her roles in movies like Chori Chori Mana Chori, Smile Please and Maa ra Panatakani.
