Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif's charming on-screen chemistry and the death-defying stunts earned crores for the makers of "Bang Bang".
The success of the flick was a clear sign that going for a sequel wouldn't hurt them. They have reportedly gone ahead with the idea but not without some major changes.
The lead pair reportedly has been replaced, the story line and director changed.
"Sidharth and Jacqueline will start prepping up for this action-adventure once they are done shooting for their respective projects. The sequel is expected to go on the floors sometime mid-next year," Mumbai Mirror quoted the source as saying.
The insider also revealed the young actors will share several steamy scenes and are to be directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
Interestingly, this report is in stark contrast to what Sidharth had said about doing the sequel, a few months ago.
"So far there is no such official news. When there is, I will talk about it. I've been reading stuff about it too. But when it becomes official, I think we will talk about it. So far there is nothing to say," the actor told IANS.
However, he also added how he's looking back at doing action films soon.
He is currently busy shooting for Nitya Mehra's "Baar Baar Dekho" with Katrina, and Jacqueline is busy with Remo D'Souza's action-adventure film "Flying Jatt" opposite Tiger Shroff.
