Dual cameras in smartphones are the new sensation. With companies like Xiaomi, Apple, LG and even Essential offering dual cameras in their phones, pressure on the world's largest smartphone maker, Samsung, is getting extremely high. Not for long though.

Samsung, which surprised everyone by not offering dual cameras in the Galaxy S8 series, has no plans to disappoint further. While nothing is official, leaked reports suggest not one but three smartphones with dual camera setup in the pipeline.

As anyone can guess, the Galaxy Note 8 is one of them, but certainly not the first. Reports have suggested that Samsung would launch the Galaxy C10 with much-needed dual cameras at the back, but the exact launch date remains a mystery. This could be for a reason.

Samsung has plans to launch Galaxy J7 (2017) soon. The main highlight of this new smartphone is going to be its dual cameras, which would make it Samsung's first dual camera smartphone before Galaxy Note 8 and even Galaxy C10.

This is also the first time any information related to the Galaxy J7 (2017)'s camera setup has appeared online. Thanks to a Weibo user who shared images of the phone's plastic back cover, which has clear opening for vertically aligned dual cameras, The Mobile Indian reported.

Earlier reports have shed light on other key features of the Galaxy J7 (2017). The handset is expected to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a mid-range Snapdragon 625 chipset or Exynos 7870 CPU paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and a 3,000mAh battery. Clearly, this is also one of the rumours that may or may not be true, which begs the question when will Samsung join the dual camera bandwagon.
