Sunny Deol, who has always been known for his action movies, regrets not being able to sing or play any musical instrument. Sunny said that he is a "musical person" at heart and revealed his choice of music.
"In fact, I wish I could play an instrument or even sing well, for that matter. Music helps you express yourself and brings out several emotions in you. I listen to different kinds of music all the time. But somehow, I haven't been able to get the hang of Hindustani classical music, ghazals or heavy metal," Sunny told the Hindustan Times.
"The Ghayal Once Again" actor is mostly fond of old Bollywood songs, from 70s, 80s and 90s, and said that that was the golden era for Bollywood music. Sunny will be a part of a newly launched radio station for a week that will focus on songs from the old days. "In the earlier eras, the melody and the lyrics of the songs were simple and straight. One could easily hum them and understand them. I am very happy that this radio station is dedicated to the songs of the 70s, 80s and 90s. These eras, according to me, were not only the golden eras for films, but also for film music," he said.
Sunny made his comeback on the big screen with the movie "Ghayal Once Again" that happens to be a sequel to the 1990 hit film "Ghayal." Following the release of the sequel, Sunny had earlier expressed his desire to make "Ghayal 3" as well. The actor had also said that his fans can expect to see him in at least two more films this year.
