Nokia's first rumored tablet codenamed as Sirius has now been tipped to be named Lumia 2520. Along with this the firm is also getting ready to launch Lumia 1520.
The firm is expected to surprise its fans by launching the new devices during the October press event. There have been a lot of rumors surrounding the upcoming devices and along with Lumia 1520 there are high hopes from Lumia 2520 as well, reported Cnet.
The Finnish Company has been at a high pace of launching Lumia handsets one after the other and it seems that Nokia has no intention to end this spree.
'Sirius' will be Nokia's first Windows RT tablet, which is expected to feature a 10.1 inch HD display along with a resolution of 1080X1920. Since, it is RT Windows tablet the operating system is speculated to be Windows 8.1.
Along with the updated Windows OS, the tablet is also predicted to be powered by 2.15 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, reported iTechPost.
The tablet is likely to come with an internal storage capacity of 32GB, giving the users a good amount of space to store important documents. This storage capacity can further be increased to 64GB with the help of the microSD expansion slot placed in the device. The tablet is expected to have a 2GB RAM.
Rumor has it that the upcoming tablet might carry a rear camera of 6.7 megapixels along with Carl Zeiss optics just like other Lumia devices. The tablet is also rumored to be compatible to WiFi and WiFi+ LTE models and will boast of a good battery backup.
Nokia is known for its slim and light design when it comes to its gadgets and the Finnish company is expected to do justice with the upcoming device. The tablet is expected to give a tough competition to the existing iPad Mini and the next generation iPad Mini, which is also expected to make an appearance in October.
The tech giant has already sent out invites for the press event on Oct.22 when the two rumored devices are expected to launch.
