Nokia's low-cost smartphone Lumia 520, which was released three weeks ago in India along with its sibling Lumia 720, is now available online for purchase.
Finnish handset maker's cheapest Windows Phone 8 based smartphone Lumia 520 is now available in almost all the major online stores but Lumia 720 is reportedly hitting the stores in the third week of this month.
Lumia 520 sports a 4.0-inch WVGA IPS display with 800 x 480p resolutions and packs a pixel density of 235 pixels per inch. It is powered by the Qualcomm Krait dual-core processor with 1GHz CPU speed.
As compared to its mid-range sibling Lumia 620, Lumia 520 has a bigger screen and battery capacity and it also boasts of a similar internal hard-ware components such as dual-core processor, 512 MB RAM and 8GB storage capacity.
With a price-tag of ₹10,499, it won't be surprising if Nokia's Lumia 520 cannibalizes its own sibling Lumia 620 (around ₹14,000) in terms of sales in the market.
Lumia 520 is now available at online stores like Saholic.om and Snapdeal.com. It will be available on other e-retailing stores in a few days' time.
