Nokia's recently unveiled smartphone Lumia 625 has been spotted at Indian online stores.
Before the Finnish company could officially announce Lumia 625's availability in India, an online store, Home Shop 18 has listed the smartphone, mentioning that the big-screen handset would be released by August end. Another e-commerce website Infibeam too listed the same device without revealing details regarding the price and the actual date of release.
Earlier in this week, The Times of India quoted sources saying that Nokia would launch two new flagships smartphones - Lumia 925 and the 4.7-inch Lumia 625 - later this month. Then the pre-order window for the metal-clad Lumia 925 (₹33,999) opened up at e-commerce websites on Friday, making many believe that the Lumia 625 would also go on sale soon.
Nokia's new phone Lumia 625 features a 4.7-inch IPS super sensitive LCD WVGA (800x480p) screen with a pixel density of 201 ppi (pixels per inch).
It ships with Windows Phone 8 operating system housing 512MB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded up to 64GB. Lumia 625 boasts of a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor and a 2000 mAh battery which can sustain talk-time up to 23.5 hours.
It features pretty descent 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash support and secondary VGA camera on the front side. During the Global unveiling of Lumia 625 in London last month, Nokia had confirmed that the price of the device would be around €220 Euros (excluding taxes), approximately ₹17,850.
