Finnish handset maker Nokia, which was rumoured to debut a phablet called Lumia 1520 aka 'Bandit' in September, has reportedly postponed the launch to the fourth week of October.
Past reports had indicated that Nokia would launch Lumia 1520 along with the latest Windows RT OS-based tablet 'Sirius' at an event in New York City on 26 September.
Popular twitter spy @evleaks has revealed that the launch of the 6-inch Nokia phablet has been pushed to 22 October.
The rumoured Lumia 1520 phablet will sport a full HD 1920x1080p resolution display that runs on the updated Windows Phone 8 OS GDR (General Distribution Release) 3 with 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory.
Since the new OS version is said to support quad-core chipset, many believe that the Lumia 1520 may ship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor that has a maximum clock rate of 2.3GHz.
Other expected specifications include a 20.8-megapixel primary camera which features an interface with a rotation lock and a Driving Mode option. Once the user docks the phone to his/her car via Bluetooth, the handset will initiate auto-response for calls and text messages.
