Finnish handset maker Nokia is reportedly prepping to launch the company's biggest phone Lumia 625 in India by the end of this month.
Insiders have revealed that Nokia is contemplating to introduce flagship 4.7-inch Lumia 625 in the subcontinent either by second or third week of August, reported Times of India.
Along with Lumia 625, the company is also planning to launch metal-clad Lumia 925 same time around.
Technology website, BGR citing their sources confirmed that the Finnish company will indeed launch these two phones in August third week in India.
After the official launch next week, the devices are expected to hit the stores by the end of August, said the website.
Nokia's biggest smartphone Lumia 625 sports a 4.7-inch IPS super sensitive LCD WVGA (800x480p) screen with a pixel density of 201 ppi (pixels per inch).
The new Lumia device runs on the Windows Phone 8 OS powered by1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor with 512MB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. It features pretty descent 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash support and secondary VGA camera on the front side.
During the unveiling of Lumia 625 on 23 June, the Finnish company had confirmed that the new phone would be priced €220 (around ₹17,855) excluding tax.
On the other hand, Aluminum-clad Nokia Lumia 925 flaunts a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA screen with 1280x768p display resolutions having a pixel density of 334 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on the Windows Phone 8 OS. Under the hood, it houses a1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.
Lumia 925 boasts of a stunning 8.7-megapixel PureView camera with dual-LED flash support, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and Carl Zeiss Tesser lens which is capable of recording 1080p full HD video at 30 fps and on the front side, the phone features a 1.2-megapixel wide-angle HD (720p) camera on the front side.
Nokia fans, who want to get their hands on this metal-clad Lumia 925 before it hits the shelves of the brick-and-mortar stores, can pre-order it at the online retail website Flipkart for ₹33,999.
