Nokia X7 aka Nokia 8.1 Android One: All you need to know
Nokia X7 is already available in China and for global markets, the company will retail it as the Nokia 8.1. Like the previous iterations, the upcoming model will be an Android One series, meaning it will run pure Android software (probably Oreo v8.1).
One of the perks of being a Google-affiliated phone is that it is guaranteed to get a minimum of two software upgrade support and an additional year of Google security patch. However, Nokia 8.1's exterior outlook and internal hardware will remain the same as the Chinese Nokia X7 variant.
Nokia 8.1 is said to sport a 6.18-inch full HD+ LCD screen and come with 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage and a 3,500mAh battery, which is more than enough to keep the phone running for more than a day easily under mixed usage.
It also comes with a feature-rich dual-camera module having 12MP and 13MP sensors on the back, and a feature-rich 20MP front snapper for the selfies and video chatting.
Other stipulated features include Bluetooth 5.0, Type C USB port, FM Radio, 4G VoLTE support and more.
It can be noted that HMD Global Oy will first host the global Nokia 8.1 event in Dubai on 5 December.
