In a move to intensify the hype around the upcoming 22 October Nokia World event, Finnish company Nokia has posted a picture of a laptop along with a tablet PC and phablet on its official Twitter page.
The snapshot tag-line read - "Nokia World is on October 22, 2013. Watch the actions on your screen of choice".
In the last few weeks, the internet was abuzz with speculation that Lumia 1520 (phablet) and Lumia 2520 (tablet PC) would debut in the Abu Dabhi event. But with the release of the teaser poster, Nokia is hinting that it may also launch a Notebook (or laptop), probably a Lumia series, at the upcoming event. The company has confirmed that the program (keynote) will be streamed live through webcast.
Apart from these devices, the new teaser does not give away much away but has spurned the rumour mill into action. If Nokia does release the Notebook, it might be the company's last hurrah before the acquisition process by Microsoft is complete in early 2014. However, these are only speculations and so Nokia fans do need to put much thought into them.
So far, only the rumoured specifications of Lumia 1520 (aka Bandit) and Lumia 2520 (aka Sirius) are circulating across the web. It is said that Lumia 1520 would sport a monster 6.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display and run on the updated Windows Phone 8 GDR (General Distribution Release) 3 OS powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor and supported by Adreno 330 GPU. It would pack 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory.
Like all other high-end Lumia phones, Lumia 1520 is also expected to come with a top-of-the-line 20.8-megapixel camera on the rear side.
On the other hand, the Lumia 1520 tablet is said to come with a 10.1-inch IPS full HD screen and run on the Windows RT OS out-of-the-box. Other stipulated features include a 6.7-megapixel camera, 2GB RAM, 32GB (expandable up to 64GB), Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series CPU.
