Finnish handset maker Nokia has recently revealed a series of Abu Dabhi landmark pictures, hinting that the popular UAE (United Arab Emirates) city may very well witness the launch of the rumoured 6.0-inch Lumia 1520 aka 'Bandit' as well as a 10.1-inch Lumia 2520 tablet PC.
Nokia on its Twitter feed said, "At #Nokia, we believe in technology that grows in leaps and bounds. Discover more on October 22" with #innovation reinvented. The tagline 'leaps and bounds' and by the look of the towering sky scrapper on the snapshot, anybody can connect the dots that the Nokia is hinting something big is in store for the fans to witness in the upcoming event in Abu Dabhi.
According to numerous reports, the company is expected to launch its biggest smartphone, a 6.0-inch monster 'Lumia 1520', as well as its first ever tablet, Lumia 2520 aka 'Sirius', at the event next month.
Nokia Lumia 1520 aka Bandit:
The rumoured phablet is expected to sport a 6.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) and pack 2GB RAM with inbuilt memory of 32GB. It will reportedly ship with the new Windows Phone 8 GDR (General Distribution Release) 3 OS update out-of-the-box. The new OS version is would give room for a quad-core processor, probably a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series chipset.
Like all its high-end Lumia smartphone ancestors, the upcoming Lumia phone is also expected to come with a superior 20.8-megapixel resolution camera.
Nokia Lumia 2520 aka Sirius:
Lumia 2520 which is touted as Nokia's first ever tablet will sport a 10.1-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display and run on Windows RT OS with 2GB RAM and 32GB (expandable up to 64GB). Like its phablet sibling (Lumia 1520), Lumia 2520 is also expected to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor which can top a maximum CPU speed of 2.3GHz.
The tablet is also reported to flaunt a 6.7-megapixel camera on the rear side and a 2.0-megapixel snapper on the front.
