Finnish handset maker Nokia on Friday launched the Lumia 928 in California, US.
Nokia Lumia 928 sports a HD OLED screen with 1280x768p display resolution and pixel density of 334 ppi (pixels per inch) and it runs on the Windows phone 8 Os powered by the 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor.
The new smartphone houses an impressive 8.7-megapixel main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), Carl Zeiss Lens, Auto-focus and a Xenon flash support and also an impressive 1.2-megapixel HD camera at the front which is capable of taking 720p resolution video.
Apart from few enhanced camera features and a tweaked body case, Lumia 928 boasts very much similar specifications to company's flagship smartphone Lumia 920 which was launched way back in September 2012.
Nokia has stated that the Lumia 928 is a custom made smartphone exclusively for US network carrier Verizon Wireless and will be available in the US markets by 16 May for $99 with two-year contract along with some incentives.
On a related news, the Finnish company is hosting a press conference at London on 14 May regarding Lumia phone future plans; many believe Nokia is most likely to unveil a next generation Lumia smartphone.
