Finnish handset maker Nokia officially launched its much-anticipated Lumia 925 in India for ₹33,499, along with the launch of another handset called Lumia 625.
"The Nokia Lumia 625 is our largest smartphone screen to date and offers a superior entertainment companion to our consumers, while with the Nokia Lumia 925, we have introduced metal to the Lumia range in a sleek, light weight design that consumers will love along with enhanced imaging capabilities," said Nokia India Director-Marketing Viral Oza.
Nokia Lumia 925, the most awaited Windows Phone, had recently gone up for pre-orders in India. The phone which made its first appearance in May at an event in London comes with a metal frame instead of a polycarbonate chassis which is seen in Nokia's Windows Phones. On the specifications front, Lumia 925 boasts of 4.5-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display with 768x1280 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. It features Gorilla 2 Glass and packs a 1GB RAM along with an internal storage of 16GB. It comes equipped with an 8.7-megapixel PureView rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, backed by a 2,000 mAh battery.

On the other hand, Lumia 625 comes with a 4.7-inch LCD screen and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB RAM. It hosts 8GB of internal storage with microSD card slot and a 5-megapixel rear camera along with a VGA front-facing camera. The phone will be available in orange, yellow, bright green, white and black colour options for ₹19,999.
