A press shot purported to be of Nokia's rumoured budget phone, Lumia 525 (aka Glee), showcasing a new design has surfaced online.
Popular tech spy Evleaks has released the press image via Facebook. From the picture, the Lumia 525 seemed to sport a slim bezel with smooth glossy back cover and looks more elegant than its predecessor's contour design.
Just hours ago, My Nokia Blog posted a specifications list alleged to be of the upcoming Nokia phone. According to the report, Lumia 525 packs pretty much the same features as seen inside its predecessor, sans the bump in RAM capacity.
The device is said to sport a 4.0-inch IPS WVGA (800x480p) LCD display with 2D hardened glass shield and runs on the Windows Phone 8 OS powered by 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 CPU. It is expected to pack 1GB RAM and 8GB of inbuilt memory (expandable up to 64GB).
Other stipulated features include a 5.0-megapixel main camera, 1430mAh battery, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v4.0 and Integrated A-GPS.
As of now there is no official word on when Nokia would debut Lumia 525. But considering the series of snapshots and specification leaks of the new phone over the last few days, the launch may be just around the corner.
