After launching Android smartphones in the Indian market, Finnish handset maker has now listed a new feature phone 225 Dual on its India online store with a price tag of ₹3,199.
The handset 225 is available in black, white, red, and yellow colour options and comes with 2.8-inch LCD Transmissive display with QVGA resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The handset houses 2-megapixel rear camera and supports connectivity features Bluetooth, GPRS and Micro-USB. It measures 124 x 55.5 x 10.4mm and weighs 100.6 grams.
The new Dual offering of Nokia is backed by a 1200mAh battery, which claims to deliver up to 21 hours of talk time, and up to 648 hours of standby time. Other feature include Nokia Xpress Browser, digital clock, recorder, calculator, clock and calendar and the phone supports the WAV, AAC, MP3, MIDI, 3GP and MP4 formats.
The company also launched its second Android smartphone Nokia XL in India recently with a price tag of ₹11, 489. Nokia XL sports a 5.0-inch WVGA (800x480p) IPS LCD screen and is powered by 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 series processor coupled with 768MB RAM. The handset packs 4GB internal memory (expandable up to 32GB), 5.0-megapixel camera (with LED flash), 2.0-megapixel front camera and a 2000 mAh battery, which can give upto 30 days under standby mode.
Nokia XL runs on the forked version of the Google's AOSP (Android Open Source Project) OS dubbed as 'X Software.'. In addition to this, the smartphone also features Dual-SIM functionality, Bluetooth v3.0 (with HS), Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), micro-SUB v2.0 , , microSD card slot, stereo FM Radio and Nokia store apps with third party Android applications.
The device is retailed in Black, Cyan, Green, Red, White and Yellow colour options in the country and it is available through various online retailers.
