Nokia Asha 210 with a dedicate Facebook button has been spotted online on e-retailer's website Flipkart.com with a price tag of ₹4,499.
The phone, which was unveiled in April as the first phone with a dedicate WhatsApp key, is seemed to be coming to India with Facebook button. Although Nokia Asha 210 had two versions, India was expecting the handset with WhatsApp button. According to the website, the phone is likely to come to India by the second week of July. The specifications of the handset remain the same that of the mobile with WhatsApp button except the branding of the dedicated buttons.
Nokia Asha 210 sports a 2.4-inch LCD display with a QWERTY key pad which includes the dedicated Facebook button for fast instant messaging on the go. Other specifications include a 2.0-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, 32MB RAM, 64MB memory with options of expanding up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone measures 111.5mm x 60mm x 11.8mm in thickness and weighs 99.5 grams. However, the phone lacks the secondary camera feature.
In terms of the connectivity features, the phone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, USB and FM radio and comes with preinstalled apps such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. The other features of the handset include Nokia Nearby, a web app which will help users to find places like ATMs, restaurants and shopping centres.
It also comes preloaded with Nokia Xpress Browser which helps to reduce data consumption by up to 90 percent. It packs a battery of 1200mAh battery which claims to give 46 days of backup for the single SIM, 24 days with dual SIM versions, and 12 hours of 2G talktime. The Slam feature of the phone will enable users to transfer contents like images or videos to another Bluetooth-enabled device without the need for pairing.
The handset will be available in yellow, cyan, black, magenta, and white and currently the pre-order is available for the Black, Yellow, and White colour variants.
