HMD Global's mid-range and entry-level phones—Nokia 6, 5 and 3 series, which were announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, received positive response from critics. And while they are yet to reach stores in global markets, a report has emerged that the Finnish company is readying to unveil its flagship phone, dubbed the Nokia 8, next month.
Keen eared folks at Pocket Now have picked up a reliable rumour in China, claiming that HMD Globalin all probability launch its 2017 marquee phone Nokia 8 in June.

The report also adds that Nokia 8 will come with two sub-variants based on screen sizes similar to Apple iPhone 7 series, but it's not sure whether they will come in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch dimensions. There are chances, they might also come in 5.0-inch and 5.5-inch screen sizes.
Both the models will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core and 23MP primary camera, but sadly it won't be having Carl Zeiss lens seen in iconic Nokia Lumia series phones.
It is being said that they will be offered in 4GB & 6GB RAM options with prices starting at ¥4000 (approx.$580/€532/Rs.37,222) and ¥4500 (roughly $653/€598/Rs. 41,871), respectively.
Though there is no credible proof to validate the report, the aforementioned specifications are believable, as the Nokia 8 needs to have such heavy system configuration, to go against the established players like Samsung Galaxy S8 (& S8+), LG G6 series and Apple iPhone (2017) series.
