The 2017 version of Nokia 3310 has attracted much attention not only because of the emotional attachment the public has on the once market leader, but also its cheap price. HMD Global announced at the time of its launch that the feature phone would be priced at €49 (around $52 / Rs 3,500), but reports have now claimed that it will be priced a few dollars more in several markets.
Nokia 3310 will be available at €59 instead of the original pricing -- €49 – in Austria, though some retailers are offering the device at €53, reported Phone Arena citing several sources. It went on to say that the feature phone will be available in Germany for €58, while the 3G-enabled version will be priced less than €93 in Sweden.

Nokia 3310 will cost higher than the amount originally announced due to tax from local governments. The price of the handset will also vary from country to country as the tax rate varies from place to place.
HMD Global's other devices -- Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 -- unveiled along with Nokia 3310 at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona could also be sold at a price slightly higher than originally announced.
At the time of announcement, Nokia 3 was priced at €139 (around $147 / Rs 9,824), while Nokia 5 is priced at €189 (around $200 / Rs 13,357), and Nokia 6 at €229 (around $243 / Rs 16,183) for the Generic version and €299 (around $317 / Rs 21,131) for the Arte Black model.
It may be mentioned that Nokia 3310 sports a 2.4-inch display with 240x320 pixels (167 ppi pixel density), and comes packed with a 16MB internal memory, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The feature phone also has a 2MP camera with LED flash (no secondary camera), and a 1,200mAh battery with stand-by time of up to 744 hours, 22 hours talk time and 51 hours on music play.
