It seems that OnePlus 3, which was a pure flagship offering from OnePlus in 2016, will last longer even after the launch of the China-based company's most recent OnePlus 3T. In simpler words, the disciple would stay as the disciple to the master at least for now. This is true even as far as purchasers outside of Asia are concerned.
As of now, the Soft Gold colour variant (and generally all colour variants) of OnePlus 3 is not available in most countries of the world as it is out of stock. This had led to apprehensions among OnePlus' global loyalist base with regards to the flagship killer smartphone potentially being phased-out permanently.
Now, a new official statement by OnePlus seemingly aims at offering loyalists and buyers lots to cheer about as the company has confirmed that new stocks would be back soon. This statement was made via Twitter in response to a potential buyer's query about purchasing the OnePlus 3 in the UK.
The significance aspect here is that OnePlus' global plans with regard to OnePlus 3 are still intact and not changed even with the launch of the OnePlus 3T. The new handset is now live in China and is set to enter other countries of the globe as well.

At this juncture, it is worth noting that OnePlus 3 turned out to be an extremely popular smartphone upon release. The handset even posed intense competition to the likes of biggies such as Samsung Galaxy S7, Apple iPhone 7 and Microsoft's Lumia 950 (includes the Lumia 950 XL).
