King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has claimed himself as King in both acting as well as in the goal of life, saying that "no one can compete with me."
Expressing his big goal in life, "I wanted to make movies so big that my parents can see my success from above. No one can compete with me because no one else has this target," he told the Indian Express on Wednesday.
Shah Rukh who reached the acme of success as an actor in Bollywood, gets the title King Khan, but he fails to understand the reason behind his popularity.
"I've never understood why I succeeded as an actor. I went from Delhi to Mumbai at the age of 22
and eventually became a movie star, but I've never been able to analyse my success," said Shah Rukh.
King Khan lost his parents when he was young and his upcoming movie 'Ra. One' is being dedicated to his parents.
The star says he does films to make them proud and this target makes him 'invincible in the industry.'
Shah Rukh had a meeting with the musical duo Vishal-Shekhar about an upcoming track in his super-hero movie 'Ra. One.'
But he immediately said that his voice was not good for singing.
When composer Vishal-Shekhar asked him to rap a short number for them, Shah Rukh said, "singing is not my forte," but he gave in when the composers convinced him to give it a try.
According to the report "he recorded the track as test and was satisfied with the results. He then asked Vishal-Shekhar whether it would look good when mixed with the track.
"Though the final song is still being worked out, those who've heard takes of the recording say that it has turned out to be a really good one," the source added.
In the meantime he is going to launch his friend and singer/choreographer Ganesh Hedge's forthcoming album 'Let's Party.'
