"The Vampire Diaries" is taking a break and will be back with a new episode on 3 December. Season 7 episode 8 is titled "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me", and it has been delayed due to Thanksgiving.
According to the spoilers, the episode will see the Heretics throwing a party for Mary Louise and Nora, and the Salvatore brothers will set in motion a plan to eliminate Julian. But, it looks like Julian is one step ahead of them.
"Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" will also see Caroline and Stefan having an awkward moment when the blonde vampire confesses to being pregnant with Alaric's twins.
As explained in the previous two episodes, the Gemini coven decided to protect their future by transferring the twins from Jo's womb to Caroline's. Although Kai managed to kill Jo, he did not succeed in his mission to ensure that the Gemini coven perished.
And now that Caroline is the one carrying Jo's twins and she is aware of the baby Stefan almost had with Valerie, it is only a matter of time before her relationship with Stefan gets strained.
Commenting on the couple's eventual split, executive producer Caroline Dries said that Caroline has a more legitimate reason to end things with Stefan.
"Valerie is part of the reason, but it's a much bigger, more emotional, legit reason," Dries tells TVLine earlier this month. "It's beyond petty jealousy or Stefan cheating on Caroline or anything like that."
"The Vampire Diaries" is aired Thursdays on the CW. The official synopsis for "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" reads:
As Julian and Lily throw a party to celebrate Mary Louise and Nora's anniversary, Stefan and Damon set in motion a risky plan to eliminate a new threat posed by Julian. Meanwhile, following a major revelation uncovered by Valerie, Caroline is forced to face her new reality, even as it threatens to destroy her relationship with Stefan. Finally, determined to do what's best for her family, Lily makes the most difficult decision of her life.
