However, this Thursday viewers of the reality show will be able to get a sneak peek of what awaits them. Logo TV will air a promo for the reunion special that will see the queens returning to dish out the best moments from Season 2.
Alaska recently opened up to A.V. Club about her Season 2 win and said that she had no hesitation about returning to the show. "For me, there was no question about it. It's like, when RuPaul calls, I answer. And so, I was like, "Yes, absolutely." I had to go back in there, and I had to do it," she said.
The season saw Alaska playing Mae West in the Snatch Game and it helped her rise to the top of the competition. When questioned about this risky choice, Alaska said it was her obsession with The Golden Girls that influenced her choice.
"I thought about doing Blanche Devereaux, but I can't do Blanche Devereaux because she's a fictional character. So, it was like, Mae West is basically Blanche Devereaux without a Southern accent. So, it was a combination of things," she added.
As for what she has in mind to expand her influence to the rest of the world, Alaska said: "Well, as the newly crowned queen of Earth, I would like to decree that nails are optional. Heels are also optional. Flats are sexy, and Black Lives Matter. So get into it."
RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 2 airs Thursdays on Logo TV. The reunion episode of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars 2 will air on Logo and VH1 on October 27 at 8 pm ET.
