The end of "Madam Secretary" Season 2 is upon us, but fans of the show will have to wait another week to watch how the plot unfolds. CBS will air Season 2 Episode 17 of the show Sunday, March 20.
Last week's episode titled "Hijriyyah" indicated what trajectory the plot will take. Episode 16 of the political thriller was all about the hunt for the world's most-wanted terrorist, Jibral Disah. Henry McCord's (Tim Daly) special task force named Murphy Station received a clue about Disah's whereabouts and found out about his new bride, Hijriyyah. Finding her is paramount to capturing the terrorist. This will be the Murphy Station's mission for the next few episodes.
In Episode 16, Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni) also sanctioned asylum for 243 Libyan refugees, and Arizona Senator Carlos Morejon (José Zuniga) wasn't pleased with the development. However, Bess reminded the senator that the President is allowed to grant asylum to whoever he wants. It remains to seen if this will become a domestic issue.
According to an Entertainment Weekly article, Episode 17 will focus on Henry's search for Disah while Bess visits colleges with Alison.
"Madam Secretary" Season 2 Episode 17 is aired Sunday, March 20, at 8 p.m. on CBS. You can stream the past episodes via CBS All Access.
