Season 2 of the political drama "Madam Secretary" has concerned itself with the attack on Air Force One. However, as the season progresses, it feels like the attack has spurred a war of sorts between Russia and the United States.
In the previous episode, the US carried out it's offensive on Russian soil, but it was based on intelligence that was misguided and untrue. In the face of a growing conflict between the two countries, what will President Dalton (Keith Carradine) do? What will be his strategy? This, we predict, will be the focus of Season 2 Episode 10.
The CBS political thriller, which is currently on a break, will air Season 2 Episode 10 on December 13, 8 pm, according to TV Guide. However, the latest episode will be quite important to the plot, in that it will depict the president's strategy to de-escalate the conflict with Russia and protect his own citizens.
According to the synopsis for the upcoming episode, the president will travel to Russia in the hope of carrying out peace talks. He will be accompanied by Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni). The two will meet Russian President Maria Ostrov. However, we wonder if their approach towards achieving peace will work.
The synopsis states that President Dalton will use a "reputation-ruining secret" to get his desired result. Fans of the show would know that the Russian president is quite tough and it remains to be seen if she cowers to this threat.
"Madam Secretary" Season 2 Episode 10 airs on Sunday, 13 December at 8 pm on CBS. You can live-stream the episode here.
