Fans of the ABC crime drama, "Castle", will have to wait for a few more days to watch a new episode of season 8. The show is on a short break due to a special programme on the upcoming Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, titled "Countdown to the CMA Awards: Country's Greatest Crossover Hits With Robin Roberts".
The popular television drama is scheduled to be back with its sixth episode of the current season next Monday, 9 November, at 10pm. The sequel is titled "Cool Boys" and will feature the return of "Firefly" star Adam Baldwin as detective Slaughter.
The episode will focus on a robbery case. The official synopsis reads: "Detective Slaughter returns to enlist Richard Castle's (Nathan Fillion) help in solving a high-stakes robbery case. But when a body is found linked to the crime, Slaughter becomes the number one suspect in the heist turned murder, while Castle has to determine whether he's guilty or help to prove he's innocent."
Teasing about Baldwin's guest appearance in "Castle", showrunner Alexi Hawley said that it will be fun to watch the Richard and Slaughter hangout with each other in the upcoming episode. "What we tried to do was have a bit of the 'guy' conversation about what's happening, but put that perspective on its head. It ends up being a positive conversation," TV Line quoted him as saying.
So, fans of "Castle" can mark their calendars to watch episode 6 of season 8, titled "Cool Boys", next Monday, 9 November, at 10pm on ABC.
The episode will also feature Stana Katic as NYPD Detective Kate Beckett, Tamala Jones as Medical Examiner Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as NYPD Detective Javier Esposito, Seamus Dever as NYPD Detective Kevin Ryan, Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle with Susan Sullivan as Martha Rodgers.
