Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is set to make his comeback with Siddharth Anand's untitled film, but there were reports that the movie has been postponed. The buzz is that the makers could not find any actress for the film.
"Sanju has been training hard to learn a particular form of martial arts for the last couple of months, as he's very excited about the film. He's ready to shoot, but now there's a major problem — shooting begins abroad from August, but the female lead is yet to be finalised," a source told DNA.
"Athiya Shetty, who was offered the film, has not even heard the script yet. While Siddharth is keen to rope in Kriti Sanon, she has not shown much interest. Siddharth had promised the producers that he would get Kriti on board a couple of months ago, but he has not been able to deliver. Now the producers are getting impatient with the shooting date approaching and putting pressure on him while he's hunting for another heroine in place of Kriti. The latest is that she met Siddharth and the producers yesterday," the source added.
Are the actresses really busy with other projects or they don't want to work with Sanjay? Only time will tell. But the "Munnabhai MBBS" actor's fans want to see him on the silver screen soon. However, a recent report in the Times of India says that the makers will start shooting for Siddharth's film without a leading actress.
The producers are still hunting for the actress, while the report suggests that the movie is on track and has not been postponed. Siddharth's last directorial venture "Bang Bang," starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, was a big box office hit, and now the director is gearing up for another action-oriented film with Sanjay.
