The blockbuster movie "Premam" was undoubtebly the most celebrated Malayalam movie in 2015. The romantic family entertainer, starring Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian and Anupama Parameshwaran, among others, has become one of the highest grossing Malayalam films in India till date.
"Premam" garnered tremendous response from movie-goers in India and abroad, and after completing more than 250 days of theatrical run at the Chennai box office, the Alphonse Puthren directorial is now set to be re-released at LA Cinema Maris in Trichy and Ram Muthuram Cinemas in Tirunelveli Friday, March 18, owing to demands from the Tamil audience. The blockbuster has become the first Malayalam flick to have achieved this rare feat.
Recently, the trailer of "Premam" was showed at Ram Muthuram Cinemas, following which the audience requested the theatre-owners to re-release the romantic flick. "This is how Tamil Audience Receive #Premam. Trailer Response Here !! Releasing this 18th, [sic]" Ram Muthuram Cinemas posted on its Twitter page while sharing the video that showed the audience's response to the "Premam" trailer.
"The DREAM RUN continues in ‪#‎Trichy‬! Releasing this FRIDAY WITH SUBTITLES. BOOKINGS OPEN NOW! ‪#‎PremamInTrichy‬ ‪#‎Premam‬, [sic]" posted Kuviyam Mediaworks on the Facebook page. The multi-starrer "Premam" will be screened at 11:30 a.m. and 4:10 p.m. Friday at LA Cinemas Maris.
Meanwhile, the second Malayalam projects of "Premam" leading ladies Sai Pallavi and Madonna Sebastian are set to lock horns at the Kerala box office in the fourth week of March. Sai will be seen opposite Dulquer Salmaan in Sameer Thahir's directorial venture "Kali," which will be released March 26. Madonna has been paired with Dileep in popular director duo Siddique-Lal's comeback movie "King Liar," which is expected to be a complete comedy entertainer and release March 27.
