Mollywood's young star Nivin Pauly is set to make a mark in the Tamil entertainment industry by signing back-to-back Tollywood projects. The "Premam" actor, who enjoys a huge fan following in Tamil Nadu, will be associated with "Raja Rani" director Atlee Kumar soon.
Nivin has signed his fourth Tamil movie, which will be helmed by Atlee's former associate director Suryaa Balakumaran. It is the second production venture of Atlee under the banner of A for Apple after Jiiva and Sri Divya's "Sangili Bungili Kathava Thorae."
"Happy to announce My production no2 With Malayalamsuperstar @NivinOfficial Launching my friend @suryaaB asDirector [sic]," Atlee tweeted on Tuesday. In reply to the filmmaker's tweet, Nivin wrote "Lets Rock !!! :D @Atlee_dir @suryaaB @george_dop" on the micro-blogging site. George C Williams will crank the film's camera and the makers are expected to announce the other cast and crew of the untitled movie in the coming days.
The announcement came the day Nivin was spotted in a new avatar during the audio and trailer launch of Vikram's upcoming thriller "Iru Mugan" on Tuesday, Aug. 2, in Chennai.
Meanwhile, Nivin has been working in Gautham Ramachandran's Tamil movie, which is tentatively titled "Santa Maria," and has also signed the untitled project of director Prabhu Radhakrishnan that is the third production venture of 24AM Studios.
