The first schedule of Nivin Pauly's upcoming Malayalam movie, directed by actor Sidhartha Siva, has been completed in Thrissur. The untitled movie started rolling in Thrissur Medical College on May 25.
"Completed 1st schedule of Sidharth's movie :) Sidhartha Siva & George C. Williams :) [sic]," Nivin posted on his Facebook page.
In the upcoming movie, Nivin plays the role of Krishnakumar, a youth political leader, and Aishwarya Rajesh of "Kakka Muttai"-fame will be paired opposite the young star. "Gudmrg .finishd 1st schedule of my Malayalam film Tnks @george_dop 4 been very supportive .super fun Dir#sidarth n sweet @NivinOfficial [sic]," tweeted Aishwaya.
Apart from Aishwarya, the movie also has Aparna Gopinath and a debutant actress in an equally important role. The untitled film, which also has Sreenivasan, Binu Pappu, Althaf, KPAC Lalitha, Krishnaprasadm Appuni Sasi, Kalabhavan Rahman, Malathi G Menon, is written and directed by Sidhartha. The actor-turned-filmmaker's previous movie "Ain" won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam in 2014.
The second schedule of the movie will go on floors in Kottayam and Peerumedu. The Nivin-starrer is the production venture of B Rakesh under the banner of Universal Cinema and will be distributed by Anto Joseph Film Company. Prasanth Pillai composes the music for the movie, for which cinematography has been handled by George C Williams and editing is done by Bineesh Krishnan.
