Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly is taking up a new role in film making. The latest reports suggest that the actor has penned the story for a movie, which will be scripted by Jude Anthany Joseph, who directed the movie, "Ohm Shanthi Oshaana".
Apparently, Nivin had narrated the story to Jude around three years back, but the story came to light only now.
"Nivin narrated this story to me almost three years ago, but I was not a filmmaker at that time. It's a plot in which there is no hero or heroine, but only characters," Jude told The Times of India, "Though I loved the story and concept, I wasn't confident to launch myself as a director through such a film as I had doubts whether people would accept it. After 'Ohm Shanthi Oshaana', I heard many scripts but could not zero in on any of them for my next film. That is when I called up Nivin and reminded him about this story and decided to plan it as my next project."
Jude added that the upcoming movie will not have any popular faces in it, but will surely be a delight for Kerala audience.
"Our actors will not be the renowned faces of the industry, but I will definitely have a surprise in store for Malayalis," added Jude.
Meanwhile, the duo had previously worked together for "Ohm Shanthi Oshaana", which was the debut directorial of Jude. The movie, which starred Nazriya Nazim in the lead, is a romantic comedy movie. It was much noticed for its narrative style and became a huge hit. The film also became a trend-setter in 2014 and also grabbed many awards too.
At the same time, Nivin is busy with a series of movies, which are lined up for him. The actor is awaiting the release of the movie "Mili" directed by Rajesh Pillai and is currently shooting fpr "Oru Vadakkan Selfie" directed by Prajith Karanavar, followed by "Ivide" by Shyamaprasad and "Premam" by Alphonse Puthren.
