With the release of the blockbuster Malayalam movie "Premam," young star Nivin Pauly had become a trendsetter in Kerala with his look in the Alphonse Puthren directorial. Fans celebrated his character, George, by wearing black shirt with colourful mundu accompanied with a thick beard. Now, it seems like the actor is setting another trend among the youth with his new look.
Nivin, who is basking in the success of the family entertainer "Jacobinte Swargarajyam," was spotted attending the audio and trailer launch of Tamil star Vikram's upcoming movie, "Iru Mugan" in Chennai on August 2. Nivin's new hairstyle and thick beard have now become the talk of the tinsel town with photos of the actor doing the rounds on social media.
"This is the first time I am attending the audio launch event of a Tamil film and am happy as it is Vikram sir's movie. We all love him blindly; he has been the greatest inspiration for all the actors out there. Thank you for inspiring us and calling me for the audio launch. Wishing all good luck to the entire team and eagerly waiting to watch the film in theatres [sic]," Nivin said at the event. Nivin was also recently spotted in a similar look with Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap during his Kochi visit.
Nivin will also be seen having a thick beard in the upcoming untitled Sidhartha Siva movie, in which he plays a student political leader in a college. The actor also has directorial ventures of Gautham Ramachandran, "Premam"-fame Althaf and Prabhu Radhakarishanan in his kitty for the year.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Vikram-starrer "Iru Mugan," which also stars Nayantara and Nithya Menen in the female lead roles, is set to hit the screens on September 2.
